Blatt, the current chairman of the club's professional committee, is regarded as one of the greatest coaches in Maccabi Tel Aviv's history, with impressive achievements in Israel and Europe. During the ceremony, Blatt watched heartfelt messages from basketball legends, including NBA Commissioner Adam Silver. Blatt led Maccabi Tel Aviv to numerous titles, including the 2014 EuroLeague championship and five Israeli championships. He was also a key contributor to additional victories as an assistant coach. Among the well-wishers were Željko Obradović, Ettore Messina, and Anthony Parker. Blatt's achievements extend beyond Maccabi, as he led the Russian national team to European Championship titles and Olympic medals.
